Shameless self-promotion

Vancouver editor, story editing, substantive editing

One thing about working with writers: they express their appreciation very articulately.

Is it shameless self-promotion even if I’m quoting other people?  Yeah, it is. But what the heck.

One of the best things about working as a substantive editor and story editor is that the authors I work with are so darn appreciative.

Recently, Rebecca Murdock, who is writing a gorgeous piece of YA fantasy fiction, wrote: “Okay. I’ve read it all. Your editing notes are superb..I am forever grateful for your close and insightful support…You are my ‘instinctively right guy.’ Your level of insight clearly comes from years of practise.”

Isn’t that nice? Thanks, Rebecca!

I am currently booking for the end of February.
