Napi’s Dance

by | Oct 2, 2012 | Review | 0 comments

I opened my mailbox at lunch today and found a copy of Alanda Greene’s Napi’s Dance, which I story edited and which Second Story Press has just released.

Alanda has a poetic voice, the book looks handsome, and I was very touched that Alanda mentioned me in her acknowledgements: “I’ve often read authors’ expression of immense appreciation for their editors’ guidance. Now I know why. Thanks to Colin Thomas for being thorough, helpful, and firm. Thanks especially, Colin, for good humour and the many deep belly laughs, essential to navigating the challenges of the process, and for your kindness and sensitivity while holding me to the required course.”

Nice, eh? Alanda was terrific to work with.
