Re:Union at Pacific Theatre

Re:Union at Pacific Theatre

The best show in town right now is Re: Union at Pacific Theatre.

Amazingly, it’s playwright Sean Devine’s first produced play.

He based it on a historical incident from 1965, in which a young Quaker protesting American involvement in the Vietnam War, burned himself to death under the Pentagon office window of Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara.

The play is an intelligent and compelling examination of the difference between ethics and religious morality.
